Watch old paper scraps and junk mail transformed into new handmade paper using a few simple tools you have around the house. See the steps to make fun paper shapes and many examples of handmade paper projects. Fun to watch and learn, but if you want to work in your kitchen during the program, here are some supplies. Paper Making Workshop Supply Blender or a food processor* (*parental supervision required)Colorful scrap paper – Great - used wrapping paper, junk mail, outdated colored paper fliers Not Good – newspaper, toilet paper tubes, brown paper bags, cardboard Water Sponge – not the kind with soap or a scrubber pad Cookie cutter shapes or cut a ring from a plastic container such as pop bottle or a yogurt container Screens – 2 squares of plain window screen that are larger than the cookie cutter or plastic ring Squares of cotton fabric such as an old sheet.
